Group Bookings

If your group has an interest in

FASHION, TEXTILES or DECORATIVE ARTS,

then we are sure you will enjoy a visit to Beckford Silk.

By prior appointment on Wednesdays and Thursdays only, we are happy to show groups around the workshops and explain the process from design, through production, to the finished scarves and ties that are available for sale in our shop.

Group size

The maximum number we can accommodate is 50 (split into two). An ideal group number is about 20.

Access

The first half of the tour is seated and then we explore the workshops which are all on one level on the ground floor.

Duration

The tour itself lasts about an hour but don’t forget to leave yourselves time to browse in the shop and perhaps enjoy a cup of tea. Our suggested start times are between 9.30am and 11am or between 2pm and 3pm.

Fee

For groups of 10 or less, the charge is £100. For larger groups up to 50, the cost is £10 per head. We ask for a deposit of £100 when you book, with the balance (for groups of 10 or more only) payable on the day. In the case of cancellation, we will refund your deposit in full, up to one week prior to the booking date.
