Description

Medium weight silk crepe-de-chine is an ideal fabric for making camisol, tops and shirts, as well as summer dresses. It has a lusterous and even texture and excellent drape. This structure is achieved by using tightly twisted weft yarns woven across the warps. Silk crepe-de-chine is relatively easy to sew and does not have a problem with fraying or slipping. It is our fabric of choice for the printing of dress material.

Beautiful quality. Lovely to work with

Slightly lighter in colour than the image; it arrived in good time I was lucky that there was an available dyeing slot but the “back orderâ€ thing might need a bit more explaining on the website as to what this actually means/involves so there aren’t any last minute surprises/raised expectations. Otherwise beautiful fabric and reasonably priced – will definitely order again in future.

Q & A

Question
What as the washing instructions for this please? Lucy Krebs asked on 06/03/2022
Answer
Hand-wash in a lukewarm bath. Squeeze out any excess water (do not ring the cloth) Lay on a dry towel to get rid of any other moisture, then press with a hot iron. Robbie Gardner answered on 07/03/2022 store managerstore manager
