Description
This silk/viscose mix with a high gloss finish on one side is the base cloth for our satin devoré. It is slightly more difficult to dye, print and devoré than the velvet but the end result as scarves or dress fabric is worth the effort. Either use on its own or combine it with panels of devoré, for a stunning effect.

I was unfortunately a bit disappointed with the quality of the material. It snags easily, making it hard to work with and is a bit budget-looking. I still used it for my project, but would not buy this one again. The service was impeccable though.

Dyes really well.

Soft and shiny. Even feel little bit sorry for using it for my belly dance DIY project 🙂

I’m usually very pleased with my orders and consistently buy my fabrics from here but I am very disappointed in the customer service! I received fabric with stains all over. I emailed and sent in photos I also called and I am very disappointed that they were not more accommodating. Instead of replacing the fabric they wanted me to send in the fabric, wait for them to receive it until they were willing to replace it. I think it’s very inconvenient and unprofessional, fashion businesses have strict deadlines and situations like this can set you back a few days. The woman on the phone sounded so unbothered and inconsiderate at the fact that I will loose time having to send it back and wait for them to send me a new one. I believe all fabrics should be thoroughly examined before sent out to clients to avoid these kind of problems.
